Adelaide Fringe is a world-renowned annual event that celebrates culture, place, and artists from across the globe. For five weeks each year throughout February and March, it transforms the cultural fabric of South Australia throughout the CBD, metropolitan suburbs, and regional communities with unique and captivating arts and cultural experiences. Its origins as an open-access festival drive its vision to become the most inclusive festival in the world.
Adelaide Fringe volunteers are an incredibly important part of our festival and we’d love for you to join us!
Both leading up to and during Adelaide Fringe season, our 150-plus cohort of incredible and diverse volunteers work closely with the Fringe team to deliver key projects. These include helping at unique Fringe events, assisting people in navigating the program, and supporting all Fringe-goers in having the best time possible.

The Respecting Country Parade is a multicultural showcase featuring participants from South Australia’s Multicultural and Intercultural communities, reflecting the diversity of Australia’s people.
The Australia Day Council of South Australia (ADCSA) is looking for enthusiastic, flexible, community-minded participants with good communication skills who are confident in dealing with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds to act as Parade Volunteers.
Parade Volunteers can expect to assist in the pre-parade registration and assembly process, with the procession of the parade and its arrival in Elder Park, and the disassembly at the conclusion of the Parade.
Parade Volunteers will be needed for approximately five hours in the afternoon and early evening of January 26th and will be on their feet for the majority of that time.

We are excited to announce that the Cellar Door Fest 2025 is taking place at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 31 January to 2 February 2025 and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of this highly anticipated event.
Cellar Door Fest is Adelaide’s favourite food & drink festival, bringing together South Australia’s best wine regions, distilleries, and producers for a truly unforgettable experience. As a volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in South Australia’s diverse wine and food culture while helping to create a memorable experience for attendees. As a volunteer, you will get the opportunity to wander around the festival and network with people in the industry.
Volunteers will be required to scan entry tickets, greet guests, assist with enquiries and service the glass collection.
