General Events Volunteers

General Events Volunteers can choose to volunteer in the AM at Mourning in the Morning, in the PM at the Kids Zone and Official Ceremony…or both.

General Events volunteers can expect to be involved in a number of roles and activities, depending on your availability:

  • Information Point Volunteer: this role responds to event-related inquiries from the public from a fixed point on site and includes guest registration for the official ceremony
  • Roving Information Volunteer: this role will roam across the event site, responding to public inquiries about the Aus Lights on the River 2025 program and assisting with interactive and light installations  
  • Kids Zone Volunteer: this role will support children's craft activities, performances, and interactive activities and requires an existing Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Ceremony Support Volunteer: this role may support the smoking ceremony, guest registration, and the official ceremony functions

Cellar Door Fest is Adelaide’s favourite food & drink festival, bringing together South Australia’s best wine regions, distilleries, and producers for a truly unforgettable experience. As a volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in South Australia’s diverse wine and food culture while helping to create a memorable experience for attendees. As a volunteer, you will get the opportunity to wander around the festival and network with people in the industry.
