Master of Management (Human Resource Management)

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to have one of the following:

A completed bachelor degree in a business related discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or
A completed bachelor degree which includes a major in business, commerce, marketing or management; or
A completed graduate certificate or higher qualification in a business related discipline from a recognised higher education institution.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS score of 6.5 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing); TOEFL iBT score of 79 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 577 with TWE of 4.5; Cambridge CAE/CPE score of 177; Pearson's test of English (Academic) (PTE) score of 58 with Reading and Writing communicative scores not less than 50; CELUSA score of AE5.

• Chief HR officer: working with senior management teams; developing and implementing workforce policies and practices; creating competitive remuneration strategies and performance management frameworks; acting as regulatory adviser for complex industrial relations matters
• Human resources manager: designing, organising and implementing human resources strategies, policies and programs; overseeing recruitment, performance management, and learning and development
• People and culture manager: overseeing day to day people and culture activities; talent acquisition; employee relations and training and development; implementing and executing strategic employee engagement initiatives
• Training and development manager: analysing development needs to manage the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs
• Work, health and safety manager: overseeing the development of OHS policies and programs; advising and instructing on various safety-related topics; managing the design of risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures; advising policy updates based on legislation requirements

What you'll learn

The Master of Management (Human Resource Management) comprises 12 courses. You will complete four Business School core courses and six Human Resource Management specialisation courses. Through these you will develop skills and expertise in areas that include:
