Why did you choose to study in Adelaide?
The cost of living is lower than other big cities, and the University of Adelaide is in the top 100 of the QS World University Rankings, which means I can learn a lot here. My student internships at Taylor Cullity Lethlean and WAX Design gave me the chance to participate in many global and local design projects and learn more about practising landscape architecture. Because of these two experiences, I received another work placement offer from ASPECT Studios which is a global firm.
In my spare time, I’ve been able to continue my 15-year-long love of drawing and art by volunteering as a Chinese translator and drawing tutor at the Art Gallery of South Australia. I’ve also volunteered at the Adelaide Fashion Festival, Minda Incorporated, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and more.
