These workshops are for you, if you...
- Are thinking about working while you are studying
- Don’t have an Australian resume yet
- Want to update your overseas resume to apply for casual or part-time work
- Want to meet and make new friends and connect with other students
You’ll learn:
- What is a cover letter and why you need one in Australia
- What the minimum wage is and what your work rights are in Australia
- What you need to have in place before starting work in Adelaide
- How to use our Employment Toolkit
- Where to look and apply for work – like StudyAdelaide’s Job Shop, a job search platform for international students
Workshop Details:
Dates: Monday, 18 August and Thursday, 21 August
Time: 12:30pm – 2:30pm (a light lunch will be provided on both days)
Location: Room 1.12 Torrens University (88 Wakefield Street, Adelaide SA 5000)
What's provided: booklet and copy of the slides
