Museums, galleries and science centres
Many popular Adelaide tourist attractions, such as museums and galleries, offer free entry, making them a great choice for a fascinating day out. These include:
Beaches
A day at the beach is considered one of the best things to do in Adelaide.
You’ll find great beaches in nearby suburbs, such as Henley Beach, Brighton, Port Noarlunga, and Hallett Cove. Plus, you can easily get to Glenelg Beach via the Glenelg tram, which runs directly from the CBD. With your heavily-discounted student metroCARD, this makes for an affordable adventure!
Tip: Take a mid-week adventure to get all the fun of the beach without the weekend crowds. Port Noarlunga is a great place to explore the reef, so bring snorkeling gear.
